WPTZ is currently running the Mega Millions draw. They are airing
it between 11:15 and 11:20 on both WPTZ and their sister
station/satellite WNNE.
How To Claim
Prizes over $5,000
These prizes must be claimed at the Vermont Lottery Headquarters in
Berlin, Vermont. The ticket must be signed by the claimant and
submitted with a completed claim form and valid identification to
Vermont Lottery Headquarters. Claim forms are available at Vermont
Lottery Headquarters or any authorized Vermont Lottery Agent.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are not available at this time, but may be in the
future.
Beneficiary Information
All profits of the Vermont Lottery go to
the Vermont Education Fund.
Retailer Bonus Structure
Agents will receive a 6% commission on Mega Millions sales. Agents
also get a 1% bonus for selling a winning ticket of $500 or more
(capped at $30,000 bonus) when the ticket is claimed.
Tax Information
Lottery winnings over $5,000 are subject to Federal Income Tax
Withholding of at least 25% and Vermont State Income Tax Withholding
of at least 6%.

collect a social security check. She lived to be over 100 and
